Before You Start
To review a Scope Certificate (SC), the following conditions must be met:
- You have the necessary permissions
- A non-approved copy of the SC does not already exist – always check the SC number first.
If that is the case, a Revise button will be enabled at the button of the Scope Certificate page.
How to Create a New Version of the Scope Certificate (SC)
To modify an existing SC, you will need to create a new version by clicking on the Revise button at the bottom of the page.
- Go to Scope Certificates > All.
- Choose the relevant SC and hover over its name.
- Click on Show details to open the Scope Certificate page.
- On the Basic data tab, scroll down to find the newly enabled button.
- Click on Revise to generate a new copy in draft mode.
How to Alter the Information on the New SC Version
On the Scope Certificate page of the new version:
- Update all relevant information fields.
- Scroll down to the Status field.
- Change the status to Awaiting Approval and save changes.
Request approval of the new revised version to the Approving person at your organisation. Once approved, the status of the original SC will automatically switch to Obsolete.
