Before You Start
When you create a Supply Chain Operator (SCO) for the first time in GTB, one facility is automatically generated and assigned to it.
If an SCO has more than one facility, you must manually create each additional facility. These are important, for example, when entering data on Process Categories in Scope Certificates (SCs).
How to Create New Facilities
- Go to Organisations > Supply chain operators.
- Choose the individual SCO to add new facilities for and hover over its name.
- Click on Show details to open the SCO account information page.
- Select the Facilities tab on the top menu.
- On the Facilities page, click on Add list item (+) to begin the process.
6. A new page for creating new facilities will then open:
-
- In the Basic data tab, fill out all relevant business account information, and save changes.
Check the box “This facility is a legal entity of its own.” if the facility is an independent legal entity and selling on behalf of another Certified Entity. - In the Address data tab, fill out all relevant business location information and save changes.
- In the Other data tab, fill out employee information and save changes This is a required field.
- In the Basic data tab, fill out all relevant business account information, and save changes.
If the Start date field is left empty, GTB will automatically set the date on which information was entered as the start date.
