Before You Start
A Supply Chain Operator (SCO) is the name used in Global Trace-Base (GBT) for operators in the GOTS chain of custody, such as:
- Certified Entities (CEs)
- Subcontractors (of CEs)
- Buyers of Certified Products
How to Create New SCOs
- Go to Organisations > Supply chain operators.
- On the Supply chain operators page, click on Add list item (+) to begin the process.
- A new page for creating new SCOs will then open:

- In the Basic data tab, fill out all relevant business account and business communication information, and save changes.
- In the Address data tab, fill out all relevant business location information and save changes.
- In the Other data tab, you may find optional fields related to additional brands, membership to GOTS founding organisations and CB system-generated SCO IDs.
You are now ready to start creating and managing new facilities, Scope Certificates and Transaction Certificates.
